from 12:20 to 12:50 during the regular season.

Dr. Wolfe will perform on the church's 1999 Rev. Dr. John Milton Coleman Memorial Organ by Guilbault-Thérien. The church is located at 334 MacDonough Street, Brooklyn. NY 11233.

This concert is presented in commemoration of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks and in celebration of the church's Homecoming Sunday. It will be the first of five concerts in the Rev. Dr. John Milton Coleman Memorial Organ Recital Series

On Saturday, March 26th at 2:00PM, Kirkpatrick Chapel at Rutgers University will host a memorial musical event honoring the late David Drinkwater. Professor Drinkwater was the Organist at Kirkpatrick Chapel for 43 years and served as Assistant Conductor of the Rutgers University Choir for 29 years. Dr. Wolfe will perform the hymn HYFRYDOL and Bach’s “St. Anne” Fugue in E-Flat Major, BWV 552/2.

Zion Episcopal Church Presents Dr. John A. Wolfe

On Friday, March 25th at 7:30PM, Dr. Wolfe will perform a recital of Baroque organ music at Zion Episcopal Church in Wappingers Falls, NY. Dr. Wolfe will perform music of Bach, Buxtehude, Grigny and Titelouze on the church’s 1911 Austin pipe organ, with 36 ranks dispersed over three locations in the church. The suggested donation for this concert is $10, or $5, with free admission for children under 13. The church is an easy trip from New York City via the MetroNorth Railroad.

On Friday, December 3rd at 7:30PM, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (30 Chambersburg Street) will host Gettysburg native Dr. John A. Wolfe, who will perform a recital on the church’s recently expanded Schlicker Organ Company pipe organ. Dr. Wolfe’s program will juxtapose Baroque and Modern music to portray a spiritual journey from darkness into light. Featured on the program will be Chasm by American composer William Albright, The Ascension by French composer Olivier Messiaen, and two works by Johann Sebastian Bach: Out of the Depths I Cry to Thee and Before Thy Throne I Now Appear. The concert will be free and open to the public, and is presented in conjunction with Gettysburg First Fridays. A freewill offering will benefit the artist.
